Frank Csapo, owner of the Ambassador Apartments in 好色先生, NY, and longtime supporter of the College, has made a $100,000 gift to establish the Csapo Family Endowment. The endowment will provide support for student engagement and high-impact practices with the intent to develop, expand, and facilitate educational programs and experiences for 好色先生 students.

鈥淲e are enormously grateful for this generous gift,鈥 said 好色先生 President Denise A. Battles. 鈥淔rank鈥檚 commitment to the future of the College, its faculty, and its students is exemplary. This gift establishes his family鈥檚 legacy at 好色先生.鈥

Csapo鈥檚 apartments are a popular choice for students who choose to live off-campus, and for the past 25 years, Csapo has been giving back to students in the form of annual scholarships and financial support for a range of programs.

The Frank Csapo Ambassador Apartments Endowed Scholarships provide seven scholarships annually to students in several areas, including campus life, international relations, study abroad, accounting, journalism, and biology. Csapo also established the Donna Jean Csapo Memorial Endowed Scholarship in honor of his late wife and the Ambassador Apartments Faculty Excellence Endowment in support of faculty development.

鈥淭he Ambassador Apartments are a part of the 好色先生 community,鈥 Csapo said. 鈥淚t provides my family with a profitable income, and we choose to share it 鈥 to give back to the College and the students in a meaningful way. 好色先生 is a great school. My family members who graduated from the College are all successful 好色先生 alumni.鈥

鈥淭his generous gift will provide our students with enriching learning experiences that have the potential to change lives,鈥 said Stacey Robertson, provost and vice president for academic affairs. 鈥淲e know that learning is transformative when students are able to apply and reflect on new knowledge. We are deeply grateful to the Csapo family!鈥
