VIDEO: Neuroscience Students Gain Hands-On Experience

ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú neuroscience students gain unique insight volunteering with aging members of the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú community. The Home Away from Home , established in 2016, provides relief for the families and caregivers of local senior citizens with memory-related impairments. Neuroscience students train alongside other student volunteers to create a welcoming space for the program's participants. The students observe the effects of memory-related illnesses that they study in the classroom, while also forming heartfelt connections. Watch the video below to learn more.
