  • The psychology of environmental issues and motivations for environmentally friendly behavior. 

Student Involvement

  • Research assistants may perform the following tasks:
    • Data collection
    • Stimuli and measures design
    • Data analysis
    • Literature review

  • Dr. Allen is not currently accepting new research assistants for the Spring 2026. 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Sophomore, junior, or senior standing.
  • Must have earned at least a B in PSYC 251. Completion of PSYC 250 is also preferred.
  • Hard-working and dependable.
  • Interest in environmental psychology.

Additional Comments

  • Dr. Allen typically accepts students who have taken one or more of his classes.
